This iconic Currumbin Valley farm’s soil is just as rich as its 102-year history
Located up Tomewin Mountain Road, Freeman’s has some of the best organic produce in town, and arguably the best views in the valley. Pioneered by Arthur Freeman, the 25-acre farm is now in the hand-working hands of fourth-generation farmer, David Freeman. You can also expect to see his 92-year-old father Bill Freeman working there too, after more than 70 years on the farm. Freeman’s opens from Friday through to Monday from 7:30 am, with the on-site cafe open from Friday to Sunday. Monday is bargain day, with 25 per cent off all of the remaining produce. David also takes one-hour farm tours every Sunday at 10:00 am, which are a great way to explore the farm and learn a bit more about the impressive history that lies within the soil of Freeman’s.
